There are three main sapient ancestries in Hanaq.
Notably, humans do not exist in this setting, and as such, most individuals refer to others as "people" as a catchall term.
The three ancestries are Fairies, Beasts, and Dragons. These beings appear cartoony and pastel-like in appearance.
Fairies are characterized by their pink blood and hooves.
Beasts have red blood and are often physically stronger than the other ancestries.
Dragons are distinguished by their purple blood and long lifespans. They initially stand on two legs, but as they age, they evolve into a more traditionally draconic appearance.
All three ancestries can produce offspring with each other, resulting in various hybrids with recessive hybrid genes.
However, there is a traditional suspicion between Fairies and Dragons. While Esperanto attempts to alleviate these tensions, the often prejudice remains deeply ingrained in their respective cultures.
